Giving Back

Every Queer Gear purchase gives back to the LGBTQIA+ community.

Giving back has been a crucial part of our mission since day one. QG started as a personal need, but it's always been a passion project too. Giving back matters to us, especially to the folks out there doing all the hard, amazing work to keep queer and trans people safe, housed, fed, and supported.

How it works

We rotate who we give to, so the money can go where it's needed most at the time. Over the years we've supported organizations like the Marsha P. Johnson Institute, The Okra Project, The Trevor Project, the Sylvia Rivera Law Project, and The Afiya Center (no longer accepting donations).

We're a tiny two-person shop, so some months it's a little and some months it's more. But it's every month, and it's every order.
